The laboratory is equipped with 4 stationary gas chromatographs:

- portable analyzer of volatile organic compounds MicroFID PhotoVac Inc.
- portable diffuse Flux meter air – device recording gas emissions from soil to the atmosphere
- waterproof pH-meter
- air and nitrogen and hydrogen generators.
Chromatographs connected to the computers, are intended for separations of gas mixtures, and to perform in them a marking of the following ingredients: methane, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes, hexanes, ethylene, propylene, 1-butene and helium, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide.
Portable MicroFID analyser allows the marking of total content of volatile organic compounds in the air and soil gas with an accuracy of 0.1 ppm.
Flux meter is equipped with two detectors (CH4 and CO2 detectors), it is used to measure emission of methane and carbon dioxide from soil to the atmosphere.
Waterproof pH-meter CPC-401 allows the assessment of variability of selected parameters of soil environment resulting from the presence of hydrocarbons.
